Evidence of Work
This stage of the semester was spent learning about creatures that have no backbones, called invertebrates. We made a poster that had to display either a porifera or a cnidaria, both of which are examples of invertebrates. We took notes and answered questions about invertebrates, and we began filling out a chart that breaks down feature of different invertebrate phylums (Seen on "Invertebrate Comparison Chart" page). We completed a webquest on flatworms and went through a virtual dissection of a clam.
The work that I completed during the past week or so is below.

Reflection
The last week has been a very exciting and distracting one for me. I think that some of my work reflects this. My answers in my webquests and the virtual dissection were not full sentences, so I will have to work on that for the next few weeks. Also, I rushed my poster and did not put as much color as usual on it, which I will change in the future.
However, being back in the classroom, even if it was only for one day of the week, helped me a lot. Both the quality and quantity of my notes improved greatly. I think this was because I had far less distractions in class. Going forward, we are only supposed to increase the amount of days that we are in school, so I hope to see more improvement all around.
