Evidence of Work
This step of the process was a lot about learning the skills necessary to complete our final product. We started with an individual and team decision matrix, which basically broke down three of our potential designs and evaluated them based on what we though it was important that they accomplish. We also researched the life cycle of our product and compiled our findings in a life cycle report. The purpose of this was to find out what goes into the manufacturing and shipping process of our product, and determining whether or not we could make this process more environmentally friendly. Finally, we acquired some necessary skills that we will use going forward by going through 3D modeling tutorials using software called Onshape. As usual, all work is posted below.

Reflection
This step went by very fast. As a group, I think we have adjusted to the pace of the school year. I enjoyed the 3D modeling tutorials in this step. They felt less like an assignment, and more like a fun activity. I would say this step went well, because we got our work in and it wasn't as stressful. We also got a valuable tip from our mentor, John Long. He suggested that we simplify our design by eliminating the disinfectant sprayer. He believes that UV light alone would be enough to kill the necessary amount of bacteria. This would be a great opportunity to simplify our design and make the process easier.
One thing that my group and I could improve on would be our collaboration. While we got out work done, there were some lapses in communication that delayed the process. Overall we talked less. The design tutorials were a large part of this step, and they were individual work, but it would be better for us to revamp our communication in the future.
